Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, stated that the “Electric Car Rally EVER 2022” is one of the programs of a huge project adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and it includes the formation of a national alliance for the local manufacturing of industries feeding in the automobile industry with the aim of increasing the proportion of the local component, transferring and settling technology and deepening Local manufacturing and assembling scattered national capabilities at home and abroad under the auspices of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and organized by the Innovation and Creativity Center at Ain Shams University.
The students’ participation came under the general supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shqedif, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Fouad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and executive supervision, Dr. Bassem Al-Hadi Al-Saeed, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Tamer Nabil Youssef, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering
