Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab  Suez Canal University president , welcome Major General Yasin Tahir Ismailia Governor and the delegation from the governing authority of atomic energy and nuclear control headed by  Dr. Atef Abdel Hamid, head of the Atomic Energy authority and Prof. Dr. Walid Zeidan vice president of nuclear and radiological control Authority and Professor Dr. Laila Fikri deputy head  of the Atomic Energy authority, visit aim to  the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at increasing the cooperation in the fields of education, training, research and radiological safety and set up a joint laboratory for measurements of radiation training center at the Canal University, as well as joint sessions in the safety and security of radiation

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Nahed Mohammed Mustafa, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Rashid Rahmy, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. Atef Abu Noor, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Amjad Matter Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Fouad Kofi director of public health and safety training center  at college.

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab  welcomed Mr. Major General Ismailia Governor visiting delegation, explaining that the university is looking to set up an advanced center in cooperation with the governing of atomic energy authority and nuclear oversight contributes to many of the activities like examine on food and other training scientific cadres specialist will use atomic energy optimal use

Then Maj. Gen. Yassin Tahir Ismailia Governor as the executive responsible for the implementation of these projects, see the upcoming challenges in energy is the atomic energy saving and nuclear inexhaustible to compensate for losses in the energy non-renewable and hopes to find the fruits of cooperation on the ground as soon as the canal region of the promising areas in imports and exports, investments and hopes that there will be a boom in the peaceful use of atomic energy and the protection of human beings, said that the province appreciates the  role of the university in this initiative

Dr. Walid Zeidan Vice President Radiological Supervisory Agency atomic and nuclear energy use double-edged sword, said that the university has done a visiting research reactor atomic Anshas and that the authority will help all universities in specialized scientific personnel development in security and safety, nuclear medicine and training to avoid the risk and benefit culture its benefits and canal University from the universities by example in the interest in this area

Then concluded Dr. Atef Abdel Hamid, head of the Atomic Energy Authority, the opening speech in which he stated that the authority is working on the production of cadres in the field of atomic energy to elevate the learning service and uses of atomic energy and stressed that the International Atomic Energy institutions receiving researcher and trainees in this area and have many applications in the uses of atomic energy in various spheres of life, not only in the field of electricity

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Fouad Kofi director of the center added that the importance of atomic energy a real source of energy, which is inexhaustible and does not cause emissions of greenhouse gases that negatively affect the climate change for the land, so the university is seeking to connect with academics and technicians in universities and companies of Suez Canal area to benefit from the peaceful uses of them confirmed that there is cooperation between the training center in the public health and safety at Canal University and authority of atomic energy and nuclear control where three sessions held in safety and chemical security at the College of human Medicine, as well as a delegation from the university two visits to the authority

After it was signed Memorandum  of understanding between the university and authority of atomic energy and nuclear control and picked up various media event, and scientific lectures began for the day
