
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab and Prof. Dr. Nahed Mustafa, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Eldemerdash director of Biotechnology Research Center, the Center scientific symposium entitled: (applications of Biotechnology in Forensic Sciences).
Prof. Dr. Hassan Eldemerdash director of the center added that this seminar aims to clarify how to apply biotechnology techniques in the field of forensic medicine and the importance of it in the judicial system and some social behaviors and the integration of natural and biological sciences in the field of criminal research into modern development applications in Biotechnology in general and biological partial basis especially because the importance of this area that it helps to prove paternity and ratios, as well as to identify the people in the event of crises and disasters to identify the participants and present the crime scene and through the identification of genetic makeup and DNA differences was to discover the enzymes pieces in the genetic map as well as the development of the incident in the hardware used, such as PCR big role in the development of the incident in this science.
and said the center is seeking to incorporate this new research field of applied within the research and service activities of the center in cooperation with specialists and workers in this field, led by Professor Dr. Nahed Mohammed Mustafa, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and seminar lectured by Dr. Thana Mohammed Ali teacher at Forensic Sciences at Suez Canal The seminar was attended by a group of specialists and forensic medicine, researchers and graduate students at the university.
