Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab  University  president , Prof. Dr. Atef Abu Nur  and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Faris Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the Infection Control Unit in collaboration with the Training and Quality Management organized seminar on  Zika virus lectured by  both Dr. Mohammed Saeed Alshahydy head of  viruses Department  and Prof. Dr / Abeer Ezzat director of infection control and  the events of seminar began by definition  of virus Zika is of mini viruses transmitted by certain species of mosquitoes and blood transfusions and sexual relations, has been monitoring the virus Zika the first time in 1947 in Africa as a result of high temperature and provides swamps that are suitable for the mosquitoes environment, then moved to Brazil and then to Latin America are all even now threatening the entire world, this virus causes a small head size than normal and has been compared between the virus Zika’s disease and any similar diseases may mix with us and its symptoms and the need to be cautious and resorting to specialists when symptoms occur.
