Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. / Mamdouh Ghorab Suez Canal University  president and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amjad Mater Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University celebrated the day, on November 15, 2016 World Day of Diabetes at University Hospital hall under the title of “Eyes on Diabetes”. The events of day was published  on the global federal site for patients with diabetes (IDF) which is a milestone achieved for the first time to Suez Canal University.
The events of day was opened by  the word of Dr. Amjad Matter Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, which stated that the idea of ​​the celebration of the World Day of Diabetes derived from young doctors and the presence of these specialized faculty members of the elite given the weight of mutual scientific expertise and the events include many lectures in the Diabetes relationship to children and its relationship to blood vessels and eyes.
