Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab university president and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Yasser Mustafa Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medicinal Chemistry Department organized the first Scientific Conference of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry for the presentation of new research in the field of drug discovery and discussed  many of the lectures by Prof. Dr. Ismail Salama head of department who was presented scientific research  which has been prepared in partnership with the research team in Germany and lecturer Dr Mohamed Hilal teacher section about the impact of drug Alortamazin inside the body and lecture by Dr. Mohammed Saleh, a teacher in the same section for modern methods for the analysis of drugs. The conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Samia Mahmoud Mustafa Professor and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and a group of the faculty members of the department
