Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab Suez Canal University president Faculty of Agriculture under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Sherif Abdelhak, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture organized the annual Scientific Conference of the Plant Protection Department, which cares to discuss the challenges that face students and appropriate ways to solve them.

And in the presence of Prof. Dr. Magdi Basl Head of Horticulture Department, Dr. Islam Subhi teacher at department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, give a lecture on the increased field crops efficient in attracting natural enemies and that is the use of certain stimuli assigned to increase the plant’s defenses against insects and acting as a means of integrated pest management to reduce the use of harmful pesticides that result in environmental, health and economic damage.

For her part, Dr. Roa Al-Shatory Assistant Professor, Department of Horticulture explained that this workshop comes as part of a series of seminars organized by the college in order to enrich the public knowledge about ways to preserve the field crops and optimizing them.
