Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mostafa Ghorab, President of University, Graduate Studies and Research, headed by Prof. Dr. Magda Hagras, announces for the results of the UNESCO Awards for Literacy for the year 2018
1. The UNESCO / King Sajong Literacy Award, founded in 1989 and sponsored by the Republic of Korea, pays special attention to programs focusing on the development, education and training of literacy in the mother tongue.
2. The UNESCO / Confucius Literacy Award was founded in 2005 and is sponsored by the People’s Republic of China. The award is recognized for adult literacy programs, especially in rural areas and youth outside school, especially girls and women.
